  Jehovah's Limp Witnesses Pointed Me to JW.org When I Was Willing to Talk

  several months ago i approached a nice young couple who were standing by a jw literature stand in my local community.

  they were pleasant and polite but incredibly stilted when it came to answering my "innocent" questions about their beliefs.

  this was the occasion of jws featuring the article headlined "is religion dying?".

  there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

  but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

  yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

    I really don't understand the supernatural declarations of faith as a jehovah witness.

    The entire premise of the religion is you are not able to have a personal relationship with God, it's only for the annoited.

  • Anyone who has ever went to a KH once in their life knows this is wrong. The teaching is anybody can draw close to God and have him as a friend.

  • This is what worries me about your God, TOTC, you think he will punish us because of what we write. Surely he's so busy running the universe and preparing to bring paradise earth that he doesn't care what we say on the Internet?

    Perhaps if he's so good at reading online he should email his new light to the GB because they keep getting it wrong.

  I'm not ashamed. Like I said I don't technically qualify. I just read Bakers entire long post and seen nothing wrong. Just him trying to twist everything they say into his own narrow views. JW teaching they are the only true means they are flexing thier muscles and are evil? Like...what?

  Signing up was a bad idea. Jehovah said some would leave. He can't lie...so thier is no changing anyone here's mind.

  Wizzstick the light in this scripture means information. It will more and more become open. For the ones God wants to hear it he tells them.

  Wizzstick Can't you remember events from 3-4 years old? If thier were some that age in 1914 they would remember it and be 103 today. Google the oldest people living today and you will many older than that. And more that don't have thier birth date on the internet for all to see.
